Our Judging Process

At Intelligent Insurer, we’re committed to maintaining fairness, integrity, and transparency in our awards process. Each year, we will assemble a panel of independent, external judges carefully selected for their diverse expertise in US reinsurance. Judges will agree to ensure all submissions and winners remain secure, and they must declare any potential conflicts of interest before participating.

Judges are grouped and assigned to specific categories that align with their market knowledge, ensuring impartiality. Firstly, they will independently evaluate each shortlisted submission thoroughly, scoring them on the key criteria for each category on our awards platform. They will then join judging video conference calls, where the justifications for scoring are explained and a consensus is achieved through open discussion. This rigorous process ensures that the awards truly reflect excellence and leadership in US reinsurance.
