Ashleigh Edwards is the Global Head of Ceded Reinsurance for the Ascot Group where she oversees a multitude of reinsurance structures, placement strategies and classes of business. Before joining Ascot, Ashleigh was Global Portfolio Head for Casualty Reinsurance at RenaissanceRe, managing a large and diverse global portfolio of casualty and professional lines business. With over 30 years of experience in the re/insurance industry, Ashleigh has held roles on both the Actuarial and Underwriting side. Originally from Australia, she has worked in the London and Bermuda markets before moving to the U.S. in 2008. Ashleigh holds a Bachelor in Mathematics & Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a Fellow of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Institute of Actuaries, Australia.
