Judges!

Our Judging Process

At Intelligent Insurer , we’re committed to maintaining fairness, integrity, and transparency in our awards process. Each year, we assemble a panel of independent, external judges carefully selected for their diverse expertise in MENA insurance. Judges agree to ensure all submissions and winners remain secure, and they must declare any potential conflicts of interest before participating.

The list of judges will be announced and published on this page, along with photos and bios.

Judges are grouped and assigned to specific categories that align with their market knowledge, ensuring impartiality. Any conflict—including them or their firm being nominated in the category, being referred to in a nomination testimonial or supporting evidence, or any other conflict deemed to impact their ability to judge objectively—will result in the judge being recused from that category. Judges follow a two-stage evaluation process:

Independent Online Evaluation

Judges independently evaluate each shortlisted submission thoroughly, scoring them on the key criteria for each category via our official awards platform.

Consensus Panel Discussions

Judges join dedicated video conference calls where scoring justifications are discussed and a final consensus on the winner and highly commended entrants is achieved.

This rigorous process ensures that the awards truly reflect excellence and leadership in the MENA insurance industry.
