Lina Hantas is Senior Executive Officer at Westfield Specialty (ME) Ltd. She joined the business in 2011 as Chief Underwriting Officer, launching its book of business, building the team, and establishing the brand across the Middle East and Africa before being appointed CEO in 2017. With a career spanning banking and senior underwriting roles at AIG and Chubb, Lina brings extensive regional insurance expertise. She holds a BSc in Business Studies from the Lebanese American University and a leadership training certification from Harvard Business School. Her accolades include being named among the industry’s most influential women in 2018 and receiving the Woman Leader of the Year Award in 2024. She also served on the board of the Insurance Association of DIFC from 2020 to 2024 as its first female board member.
