Deepon Sen Gupta is Head of Capital Partnerships at OAK Global, the specialist Lloyd's of London (re)insurance group operating Syndicate 2843 (OAK Reinsurance) and Syndicate 1440 (OAK Enterprise). He's responsible for managing and growing OAK Global's diversified investor base. Before joining in 2025, Deepon was Global Head of Strategic Advisory at Gallagher Re. His career has been rooted in the (re)insurance sector throughout, with previous senior roles including Group Chief Strategy Officer at Neon and founding board member of Beat Capital Partners. At Neon, he led the first ever ILS transaction under the UK ILS framework which went on to be award-winning. At OAK Global, he's been instrumental in designing the group's hybrid capital model. He's an active spokesperson in the trade press, having featured across Artemis, Reinsurance News, Global Reinsurance and The Insurer.
