Jürgen Reinhart started his career at Munich Re Group in 1996 and has worked in several technical and managerial positions there. Before he took over as global head of cyber for Munich Re Group, he was CUO non-life. In his current role Reinhart is responsible for setting the global cyber strategy for the group as well as the risk management in respect of cyber, and is deputising as the CUO for the Reinsurance Group. He studied mathematics and gained his PhD in aerospace engineering. Since 2000 he is a qualified actuary and a member of multiple boards in the German Actuarial Association.
