Laura Burke is the US Head of Cyber and Tech. In this role, Laura is responsible for developing and executing the national Cyber and Technology E&O strategy. Laura enjoys mentoring cyber talent and fostering connections between women in Cyber insurance. Prior to joining Canopius, Laura was the National Practice Leader for Cyber at one of the world's largest P&C firms. Additionally, Laura has previous experience advising clients on complex risks for both management and cyber liability at two of the largest international brokerage firms, both in the U.S. and London marketplaces. Laura holds the CIPP/US certification, earned her MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
