Lydia LaSalata is the Global Head of Cyber Reinsurance at Axis Re, as well as a Senior Vice President on the Professional Liability Treaty team. Prior to joining Axis, she held underwriting positions at Safety National Re, Swiss Re (in both Italy and New York) and AIG (in both Italy and New York). She holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Registered Professional Liability Underwiter+, Cyber Professional Liability Practitioner (for which she is also a participant on the committee) , Associate of Risk Management, and Associate of Reinsurance designations and has an MS in Enterprise Risk Management from New York University and a BA in History and Italian Literature from The George Washington University.
